WILDTIME OUTDOORS was founded by Mark Chan, a professional who has spent more than 20 years working deeply inside China’s optical manufacturing industry.
Before starting WILDTIME OUTDOORS , Mark worked closely with optical factories, product engineers, lens suppliers, machining workshops and outdoor optics manufacturers. Through years of hands-on experience, he gained a clear understanding of how outdoor optical products are designed, produced, assembled, tested and supplied to global customers.
In 2015, Mark noticed an important change taking place across China’s manufacturing industries: **industrial integration**.
Traditional single factories were facing increasing pressure. One factory could no longer maintain the best advantage in every production stage at the same time. Optical design, lens manufacturing, electronic components, infrared illumination, precision machining, product assembly, software, packaging and export supply all required different specialized resources.
Mark realized that the future of outdoor optics manufacturing would not depend only on one factory. It would depend on the ability to integrate the right industrial resources and turn them into practical, competitive and market-ready products.
This idea became the starting point of WILDTIME OUTDOORS.From the beginning, WILDTIME OUTDOORS has followed two core principles.
